Close Combat: The Longest Day is one of the best of the series, from my limited play of it at least. Just a rock solid wargame. Good ambiance, nice morale mechanics. Well done all around.





Starting the first mission of the many provided. Will report again only after I get to the summary screen, win or lose.

Loose Files And American Scramble is an extremely approachable yet subtly detailed little rule set, buried in an old copy of Wargames Illustrated magazine, which included it in one of its issues.
